All candidates with less than 3 Full Years of Teaching Experienced are considered "Novice Teachers" at Washington Academy and shall be enrolled in our Mentor and Induction Program approved by the Department of Education.

Part-Time Teacher Aide: (Open) Immediate Opening for candidates as a PT Teacher Aide, to work with students in class. Preferrable skills and experience background, SORA license, CPR, understaning of special needs students, willingness to learn and grow professionally. 

Part-Time Receptionist - (Open) The receptionist would answer phones, filing, handling mass mailings, and office organization. The Candidate must be an expert in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. The Candidate must be an expert in mail merges.

Part-time Custodial Substitute (Open) -  Candidates must have cleaning experience, ability to work a flexible schedule, desire to gain experience in custodial and maintenance field, and knowledge of at least one skill: painting, floor waxing, bathroom sanitizing, light handyman work.
