The Goal of the Washington Academy is to:
Teach each student skills and techniques - consistent with their IEPs - that will enable them to meet the challenges of the future.
Create a least-restrictive environment, so students can achieve academically, socially and emotionally.
Motivate students to learn by supporting and nurturing their self-esteem, academic progress and social skills.
Provide a positive academic environment where all students have the same opportunity to learn, mature and maximize their potential.
