Summer Program/Extended School Year: Approximately half the full student enrollment attends our ESY program which consists of academic skills building and review, social skills, field trips and counseling. ESY fosters continued growth and minimizes academic regression. (ESY can also serve for High School Students who need to make up credits in order to earn a high school diploma.)

Academic Program: The educational program at Washington Academy is similar to a public school academic curriculum. Our teachers write curriculum maps in every grade level to align with the NJ State Core Curriculum Content Standards. Based on those standards, our teachers then make appropriate modifications and accommodations to meet the individual needs in the IEP.
