If conditions indicate that school openings may be delayed, an announcement will be made over the above TV station and on the school's telephone taped announcement. For a Delayed School Opening, starting time will be one and one-half (1½) hours later than usual.

The above TV station will likewise broadcast early dismissal for emergency reasons. Working parents should make alternative arrangements for the care of their children in the event of an early dismissal.

The decision as to whether to close schools must be made between 10:30 and 10:45 a.m. and an announcement will be made over the above TV station and on the school's telephone taped announcement.

The Message Line will have a taped message in the event of an unexpected school closing. Individuals may receive information about various school and district activities and parents may leave messages about student absences at any time of the day or night.

We are proud of our schools and welcome visits from parents and other interested citizens. However, we ask that all visitors receive prior permission from the principal's office.

All visitors are required to "sign in" at the main office and receive a visitor's pass upon entering the building.
